Privacy policy
Osbridge Operations ("we", "us") is an operations consulting firm based in Toronto, Ontario. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our work, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- When you email us: your name, email address and anything you choose to include in your message.
- When you book a call: your first name, last name and email address, plus anything you add to the booking form. Booking is handled by Google Calendar (see "Services we use").
- When you become a client: contact and billing details, and the business information you share with us to deliver the work.
- When you visit the site: aggregated, anonymous statistics such as page views, referring websites, browser type and country. We do not identify individual visitors.
We do not collect sensitive personal information through this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Why we use it
- To reply to your message and hold the call you booked.
- To prepare proposals, deliver services, invoice and keep business records.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use it for advertising. We only send you follow-up emails about a conversation you started with us, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies, local storage or fingerprinting, and does not identify individuals.
The booking calendar is provided by Google and only loads when you click "Book a call". Once loaded, Google may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.
Services we use
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:
- Google Workspace (email and Google Calendar booking)
- Cloudflare (website hosting, security and anonymous analytics)
- Our accountant and payment providers, for invoicing and tax records
These providers may store and process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and call bookings that do not lead to work: up to 24 months after our last contact.
- Client records: for the length of the engagement, then as long as tax and business record rules require (generally six years).
After that, we delete or anonymize the information.
How we protect it
We use reputable providers that encrypt information in transit, and we limit access to the people working on your engagement.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw your consent to its use (subject to legal and contractual limits). Email us and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
